Soukoul

Terms of use

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These terms explain how Soukoul works, what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. They apply to anyone who visits www.soukoul.com, creates an account, takes a course or makes a purchase.

1. Who we are

Soukoul is an online learning platform, "the African knowledge marketplace", available at www.soukoul.com. The site is published by Wourix, an establishment with its registered office in Douala (Cameroon).

For any question: support@soukoul.com, or via WhatsApp from the Contact page.

2. Acceptance of the terms

By creating an account or using Soukoul, you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

We may update these terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page; for any significant change, we notify you by email or on the site before it takes effect.

3. Your account

  • You log in with a one-time code sent to your email address, or with your Google account. There is no password to remember.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • Use your real full name: it appears on your certificates.
  • Your account is personal: one account per person, which must not be lent or shared.
  • Access to your account depends on your email inbox: keep it secure. If you think someone is using your account, contact us immediately.

4. Courses and access

There are several ways to take a course:

  • Single purchase: the course stays in your "My learning" space, with no time limit, for as long as it is offered on Soukoul.
  • Subscription: it gives access to the courses in the catalog for the paid period.
  • Free courses and preview lessons: available without purchase.

We may update a course to improve it. If a course you purchased were to be removed from the catalog, we will contact you to offer a solution (extended access, an equivalent course or a refund).

5. Prices and payment

  • Prices are displayed in the currency of your country. The amount to pay is set when you click "Pay" and does not change afterwards.
  • Payment is made by Mobile Money (or by card when offered) through our payment providers, NotchPay and SasPay. Soukoul never receives or stores your Mobile Money PIN or your card number.
  • Access opens as soon as the provider confirms the payment, usually within a few minutes, the time for your operator to validate the transaction.
  • If online payment is not available in your country, our team can help you via WhatsApp.
  • Promotions are limited in time. For a subscription, the reduced price only applies to the paid period.

6. Subscriptions

  • Each subscription has a duration shown at the time of purchase (for example 30 or 365 days).
  • There is no automatic charge: to continue, you renew yourself, at the current price. We remind you by email before the end date.
  • After the end date, you keep access for a 3-day grace period, to give you time to renew.
  • Upgrading takes effect immediately; downgrading takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • When your subscription ends, access to the catalog courses stops. Courses purchased individually and certificates earned remain yours.

7. Credits

  • Credits are used to download videos to watch offline. The cost, based on the length of the video, is shown before any confirmation.
  • You can receive credits with the welcome bonus, a credit pack, a subscription or a goodwill gesture from us. Any expiry date is shown when you receive them and in My account.
  • A video already paid for with credits can be downloaded again for free for 30 days.
  • Credits are not refundable, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred to another account.

8. Refunds

Courses, subscriptions and credits are digital content available immediately after payment. Once access has been opened, they are not refundable, except in the following cases:

  • the same purchase was paid twice;
  • the payment was debited but access was not opened;
  • a technical problem on our side prevents you from accessing the content and we cannot solve it.

In these cases, contact us within 14 days of the payment, with the reference on your receipt: we will open your access or refund you.

9. Permitted use

Courses are for your personal use only. It is forbidden to:

  • share your account or resell access;
  • copy, record, distribute or publish videos and documents, even for free;
  • bypass the protections of the site or download content outside the tools provided;
  • use bots or send mass requests.

Downloaded videos may only be used for your own offline viewing. In case of breach, we may suspend or close the account concerned, without refund.

10. Certificates

A certificate is issued when you have completed all the lessons of a course you purchased or took with a subscription. Each certificate can be verified through a public link. It certifies that you took the course on Soukoul; it is not a state diploma.

11. Reviews and content you publish

Your reviews must be honest and respectful. We may hide an abusive, misleading or off-topic review. By publishing a review, you allow us to display it on Soukoul with your name.

Documents you create with our free tools (for example the CV generator) belong to you; you are responsible for their content.

12. Intellectual property

Courses, videos, documents, the Soukoul brand and the site are protected and belong to Soukoul or to the instructors. Purchasing a course gives you a personal right of access, not ownership of its content.

13. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep Soukoul available at all times, but interruptions remain possible (maintenance, provider outage, network). We are not responsible for outages specific to Mobile Money operators or payment providers.

Courses share knowledge; the results you achieve by applying them depend on you and are not guaranteed.

14. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from My account. Deletion ends access to your courses, subscription and credits, without refund. We may suspend or close an account that does not comply with these terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

In case of disagreement, please write to support@soukoul.com first: we always look for an amicable solution. Otherwise, these terms are governed by the law of Cameroon and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Douala (Cameroon).
